No Money Mo Problems

**EDIT: My dog is fine! She was having a hard time all throughout the night, but when my mom came down at 6am to check on her, she was fine and her tail was wagging at full strength. We fed her some milk and she’s a-ok now. Peony did tell me that dogs are very strong animals. I’m so happy and I want to go back to California now just to see Lambo.

Thanks for asking, AMY PAK! I know you understand the heartbreak of losing an animal :( I was actually thinking of you.

My dog is sick (pesticide poisoning from the gardeners) and she is drooling uncontrollably and can’t seem to open her eyes. I hear this from my mom as she’s telling me over the phone because I’m in New York and away from home. Her voice is calm but kind of shrill, scared but kind of strong. We can’t send her to the 24 hour emergency room because we are Korean and can’t pay that much money for a dog we’ve grown so attached to and, dare I say, love?, so we’re waiting for morning and for the sun to rise from its slumber to take her to the vet. Actually, my friend, Peony, so thoughtfully volunteered to take my dog to the veterinary hospital that she works at; she’s studying to become a vet. She volunteered because she knew my parents work all day from 7-7 and that my brother is away at San Diego and that my sister is away at Long Beach and that I’m away at New York.

Hope to update this post soon, and with good news. Until then - Lambo (that’s my dog’s name), just hold on til morning!
