My most favorite stories are bildungsromans (coming of age stories), especially ones where people slam into the almighty presence of God and subsequently become saved not by their own accord or because of what they’ve done, but because of His love and His sovereign plan. And I’m not just talking about stories where ink meets paper. I’m talking about real, living, breathing friends and acquaintances who have shared with me their encounters with HIM.
